You won't feel wronged by the cv carb, you can pick them up for a 100 Bux or less, matter of fact I might have a spare one in my parts bin in my barn, let me know if you go that way and ill get out there and look,

I had one on my bike, fitted by the indy who stroked and tuned my motor. He closed down not so very long after and I took my bike to another shop for a tune up and they showed me why it wasn't man enough for my bike. It ran OK on reasonably light throttle settings, but couldn't supply the demand on quick throttle openings, so the engine could actually be made to stall.

Be warned! That started me on the long journey that ended up with me replacing that carb with an S&S Super G - attached to a 107".....
