frame off restore has begun....

Default frame off restore has begun....
this is right before i stripped it completely and sent the frame and swingarm out for powder, which came out absolutely beautiful....working on cleaning up all the electrical (very dusty and grimy) ....first parts i put on were the frame ground, necessary speed clips, and reconditioned dash

got a lot of work ahead of me, but it's gonna be sweet!

Looks good, we can spend someone else's money again, this is the fun part for the Evo members.

I hope not, Mike... engine is giving me a problem because of the damage done by the INA bearing...but otherwise, what I find most critical is to simply stay organized ...taking pictures has helped with that, of course

Thats awesome. You know these Evo's are classics after all (LOL, according to our forum title), and restoring a classic is to its former glory is a great thing!

Yes, the EVO bikes are exceptional classic rides. Mine is very simple to work on and understand. I hope to keep it mostly original and just enjoy it.

My bad I should have seen the softtail on the floor.
I've often thought of giving my flhtp a total strip down and repaint, maybe next year.
