Quick update on the carb from Killer. I have a 94 FXSTC with V&H Long shots. Was basically set up for a stock bike with 190 main and 48 idle. Unfortunately, I did not plan properly and ended up with Wiseco 10.1 pistons, Andrews Ev27 cam, but the carb still seems to run great. Plus, Dale is easy to work with by phone and email, and I may increase the main to 200 and idle to 50 as posted earlier. What I DO want to say is that before, I CONSTANTLY had backfiring, "popping" on decelerating with the old CV carb set up. Tried a LOT to get rid of it. With the Killer reworked carb, not a single pop/backfire.
One thing to note that I had to do (don't know if this will impact yours) But I have to be very careful to use very minimal choke. I basically use it to start the bike and then slightly throttle up and use the lock to keep it going. So my choke may only be on for about 15 seconds. As we all know those chokes dump a lot of fuel. But I managed to foul my plugs even after minimal choke use. With that being said once I drive off it runs perfect.

An engine should pop and burble a little on decel folks.
But not bang and explode though.
You shut the throttle and everything goes through the pilot jet,so it's gonna pop a little..
I just dropped off a Killer MC Carb from Dale at the shop along with a Crane HI-4 Ignition and Supertrapp 2 into 1 exhaust. It gets dyno tuned on Thursday. I've arranged to video tape them dyno tuning it and will be there to adjust the noise levels vs peak low end torque. I'll post all the results in a new post with the upgrades I have just installed and the dyno sheet stock vs mod'ed and the short video of it being dyno'd.
Its good to hear these responses. I ordered mine and Dale promised to ship it yesterday but he has not yet sent me conformation its been shipped. I really have high expectations for this carb based on this forums posts, but like the rest of you guys, I can't post up till it arrives.
