I've got a fairly stock '93 wideglide...Mikuni carb, stage-1 screamin' eagle cam & Vance & Hines pro pipe HS exhaust. The bike runs out great, but I'm 61 y.o. and it's just too loud for me. The local dealers & independents and Vance & Hines are no help at all. I've repacked the fiberglass at the rear of the baffle and tried putting hose clamps over the holes in the front of the baffles. Every clamp I added helped, but when I put the 4th one on, it sounded about right, but it killed the power. Is there another system i can use, or slip-on's, I can use on the OE system that will quiet things down, but not kill the power?
