yeah hope so too. i just want a bike back. i called the insurance and asked if i get a loaner bike. they said that was not possible lol

Don't know if you want to fight the ticket or not, but the D.O.T. hasn't inspected a helmet since 1976. Check a copy of your local helmet law, then ask for the list of approved helmets. He won't be able to produce one. Then ask him how he knew yours was illegal. The sticker on the back and the label can be removed!!!
