Ign usually misfires or just stops completely, your sounds like fuel....

Great advice. Thanks all.
Faulty Circut breaker? Where are those usually located (and what do they look like)?
There's no vent line so I'll check the underside of the cap.

i would say circuit breakers. change all of them. get a service manual and it will tell you where the breakers are. i don't have a softtail so i don't know where they are.

Your right fuel cap is vented, the left is not.

Circuit breakers are under the center console between the fuel tanks.
