To the best of my knowledge, all the Evos and Twinkies use either 3/8-24 or 7/16-24 banjo bolts for the brakes. These are sometimes called 10mm and 12mm respectively even though the latter is actually 11.2mm.

The only exception to this is the 2004 - 2006 Sportsters which use true metric bolts on both the front and rear master cylinders and calipers. Most of these are 10mm-1.25 although some of the Sporsters have a12mmx1.5 on the front master cylinder. Fortunately, Harley went back to the SAE sizes in 2007 on the Sporties.

LMAO. Well, most of it was and what wasn't took a walk to my spare/original parts drawers to verify. A month ago, I just bought the lines and cables for my new apes for my Heritage so the research was fresh in my mind.

As far as the Sportster, my gf has a 2004 Sportster which was the first year that things changed. (That's the year that the MoCo made a bunch of changes to the Sportster such as rubber mounted engine, different frame and on and on.) I put a pullback riser on her bars for her and had to change out the brake line. I picked one up at a shop while going through the States and was given the wrong size banjo bolts, so that's why the Sportster info is stuck in my head.

I can barely think of a part of an EVO era bike that has not been discussed on this forum. Outside of the Harley Manual, you guys are the greatest source of info around.
