Whatever do you mean??? Why just last year a dealer near me had a 30% off parts sale and I picked up half a dozen filters, fork oil, and some primary fluid. hehehe...
So i guess i can safely say that the MoCo arn't going to make any money from you lot, ***** G will be disappointed.
Not at all. I still buy oil, filters, tires, last year a starter motor, this year I'll be due a new belt. Those of us who ride our bikes provide a steady stream of cash to the dealers. Smart dealers understand this.

I wouldn't say HD is exempt from porking us, just not making our butts bleed. Recently compared some primary seals side by side and the HD is a better seal and very happy with a HD side car drive belt for my barge.
Had a 88 TC - nice but I moved to a Springer (Evo) and I'll never go back - IMO the Evo is a better engine - NOTHING against the new motor - Just my experience and opinion.
I love my 97 FLSTS. I really do. And I'll be honest and tell you all that I'm one of those guys that bought a brand new 2011 FLHX 103. And I only paid $19,000 for it not $25,000. I will also say that I can't wait to pick it up and start riding it. I also know that I will end up messing with the exhaust and motor (a little) to get more out of it. Hell, I've already got a list of things I want to do.
BUT, I will NEVER, EVER get rid of my Springer. Everyone asks me what I will do with two bikes. My answer... ride them. I have friends that ride Honda's, Indians, Kawasaki's, Ducati's, etc that all don't care for HD. But they have ALL told me that if I ever decided to get rid of my Springer... to let them know because they all want it. Does she put out monster horse power and monster torque... Nope. But she will still move and she does it in style. And to be even more honest, most of them have a hard time keeping up.
I gave my Wideglide to my wife because my back couldn't take it anymore! I told my brother the other day if I had to choose between a twin cam or evo side by side I would take the evo! (I am gonna put away my pennies and hopefully buy a Evo Road King next year!)
Until then I will have to ride my Twinkie.
I got over 200k miles on my 110ci evo, ill keep rebuilding her when she needs it till the day i die, going on 28 years for her. Ill never own a twin cam bike....ever.
Last Saturday I went on a good ride with about 4 other guys. It rained ALOT but was still good. When the one guy I don't really know found out I had a twinkie heritage before he gave me the "why would you do that" question. I just love it. People don't understand. Funny thing is all the twinkie carbed bikes acted up in the rain and of course the owners don't know how to tune them right. My evo ran like a champ all day long.
