How about S-100 cycle cleaner. I have never used it, but might give it a try. They say you just spray your bike down with it, and then hose it off. Sounds good to me if it really works that way. I seem to get lots of bugs on mine. They are a pain to clean off. Maybe I should try WD-40 as was said above. Will that work on windshields?
Don't use S 100. Many reports of it etching metal on engine. Do a search. I wash my bike the old fashioned way. No probs. Spray biike down with hose. Put car wash soap in bucket. Take microfiber cloth and wash top down. I like idea of separate bucket for chrome, undercarraige if very dirty. Rinse. Honda spray polish.
End of season I'll use Mothers Carnuba Wax. Nevr Dull on wheels.
Simple green on Magic Eraser for whitewalls.

Geez, I didn't know that. I only used S-100 for about a year and never had a problem, except for cost.
So what are the recommendations on the black engine? I have the outer primary powder coated. Its nice and dark, however the inner is beginning to fade and would like to liven it back up... There is a distinct difference in the two as of now.

Lemon Pledge will make a dulled or faded black wrinkle finish on a motor look like brand new. Spray it on then wipe off any excess or hose it off.
