That's probably going to be a little difficult as one of the first mods most owners do is pipes and air cleaners. However I am sure that someone out there has done it. I hope you get lucky and someone can help you. Have you tried contacting some of the better dyno shops to see if they have a map, if so I am sure they would sell you a copy. If not take a look to see if Dr. Dyno is going to be somewhere near you. He is based out of Conn. and we use him every year at Americade to fine tune some of the engines we've built over the year. He may even have a copy of a map you can get. Hope this helps.

Welcome aboard, going to throw a few things at you, if you don't have detonation at 4th and 5th gear throttle roll on or exhaust popping on decel, a PC3 isn't really needed with a better air cleaner.

Downloading one of the slip on muffler maps from the Power Commander website won't hurt your engine, the basic maps listed are mostly 1/2 and 1 afr richer in the roll on area at the 40% to 60% throttle position and the same at 100% throttle position, not much change in the other areas.

Load the M801-320 or M801-310 map from the website and take it for a spin, if it pops at decell, put a 5 in the first colume from 1000 to 2500 rpm's and will cure the pop and if it runs without being flat through the throttle range on the road and wide open throttle, put it in the wind.

I think I would try contacting the good folks at power commander and see what they recommend. However, the best option would be to go to an authorized power commander tuner and dyno it so the program is custom tuned to your bike. I've done that with my RK and the Softail and there is a noticeable difference between the canned tunes vs a custom tune. Hope this helps

Dynojet hangs out on one of the other websites and answers questions, they usually take their suggested canned map and makes changes in the troublesome areas that the is reported back by the user and gets good results. When you install the maps, the numbers on the screen/chart is where fuel is being added and every 5 is a half richer AFR.
A modified engine won't respond perfect to a canned map and that is a fact but I just can't buy into a $400 dyno tune for an air cleaner change, you put a cam in and free flowing exhaust, the maps become critical for power and not leading to detonation associated with cylinder heat and the dyno tune becomes a good insurance policy.

Good members here will assist you and again, welcome.

You can try contacting them, but I can save you the trouble. I called twice and they couldn't help me. I could tell by the conversation that they weren't concerned with older bikes......not enough money there I guess. Bottom line is that we will have to take our bikes to a turner and spend the cost of another PC to get it working correctly.

You would think that as many dynojet tuners center are out there, they would store the Maps for others to try that had similar setiops.......
