Default DynoJet Power Commander V

Can anyone tell me who use dynojet power commander V in ther 883 sportster. I want to know how it work's to there bike if it's really make changes like performance, illiminate heat in the engine, more speed, smooth riding.
I am considering to buy one to my bike this weekend but I want to make sure it really works. So far I already installed X14iEd on my bike but not so happy with the result my engine still heat tremendously while on the traffic iddling plus experiencing some surge while in third gear or fourth gear once in a while...i like it so far but not really happy with the result. So, I was thinking to have my bike dyno and tune to the dealer I called them the other day and inquire how much will cost me. I was quoted $450 for dyno and $450 for tuner totalled $900. that's a lot of bucks. I found this dynojet commander V is cost only $369.99. that something I'm considering to buy.

Any advice i really appreciated...thanks in advanced

Mine is a 1200 but should be the same results as a 883.
I bought mine from Fuelmoto and told them what I had for AC & pipes and they preloaded a map for me, install was about 10 minutes and the difference was noticeable with in the first block. Much smoother throttle responce especially at low speeds, the motor just runs so much better at low RPM's, temp is way down enough that it is very noticeable, hard riding performance was way up, a lot more power thru the whole power band and top end just fantastic. I hate to use the term "a whole different bike" but it truly is.
Now as far as the tune...it did come with a disk for the computer and I did load it but never felt the need to change a thing on the map. When I was at a biker event I paid 20 bucks to put it on the dyno (pics and dyno map in my gallery), the dyno guy was quite impressed and when I asked him if I should get a real dyno tune he said "I could smooth the air/fuel a bit and maybe get you another 1 or 2 horsepower but it's not really worth it, it runs great as it is"
There is lots of talk on here about this programer and that programer and all I can speak to is stock vs the PC5 and I can tell you that if I had it all to do again I'm 99% sure I would just call up Fuelmoto and get another PC5.
One thing I would not do is buy a PC5 from e-bay or something and go to the trouble of getting it dyno'd, Fuelmoto has dyno'd thousand of Harleys and have proven maps for any combo of AC & pipes.
Hope that helps your quest for a bike that runs like it should have in the first place...thanks to the good old EPA.

I'd recommend spending a little more and getting the Dynojet Power Vision. I just got mine today and am very happy with the results.

agreed, i'm also running the Kuryakyn Mach-2 AC with the short shots, i had a Power commander, i took it off and replaced it with a power vision from fuel-moto, i just could never get the bike the way i wanted it with the PC, im SUPER happy with the power vison, i figued the best way to do it was to just re-flash the ECM.

+1 for the Power Vision. There's a link in my sig for the Amazon page for it. ~$400

You can load up a preconfigured tune and then road tune it yourself. There's a good thread on it here.

The power Vision is newer technology, works better, has more flexibility and is more user friendly (truly plug and play and has a touch screen). There have been a number of folks that had other devices and couldn't get their bike running right and then switched to a Power Vision and now the bike is running like they want. See below for an example.
