Default battery help

any one with a 94 fxds
I'm looking for a battery that fits in the bracket with the cover over it.the new batteries appear to be 6.875 long the original battery is 6.750 the difference allows the chrome cover to fit around the battery.the new batteries fit snugly in the tray and do not leave room on the sides for the cover.
I've tried Deka and Yuasa and Interstate

Have you tried to take your original battery to one of those interstate battery stores? They might be about to match the size.

Here is a web site for light weight lithium batteries that are smaller, but more powerful than the original ones.
http://www.shop.antigravitybatteries...TTERIES_c2.htm

Hope this helps.
