Default need a little help

I recently purchased my old bike back from a kid, and noticed the front rocker cover leaking between the top and second cover, well upon pulling it apart, it looks as if the gasket had been sucked in on the right front cover, so i regasket it, and ride it, after about 100 miles, its sucked the gasket inward again. whats causing this? im ready to pull my hair out, the heads are new screamin eagle top breathers, the rocker covers are new oem , i just dont get it, ? thanks

Sounds like the rocker boxes may have gotten warped. Put the offending pieces on a plate of glass and go around it with a feeler gauge to see if it's warped. Be sure to check both surfaces. The surfaces should be dry when you put them on. Is a sealer is needed then we use Cat Cement, which is available from your local Cattapiller dealer, Yammabond will work also, it comes from your friendly local Yamaha dealer.
Be sure that all your breathers ar open and free flowing. Harley's build pressure and vacuum with each stroke, if anyone doesn't believe it just take the timing plug out and start the engine LOL. Hope this helps.
