Just removed the air assist and fitted the progressive mono cartridge setup. As yet to test it but from what i have read its a great upgrade and very straight forward to do.

Spring length is not a problem, as long as replacement springs have enough travel in them. The length can be made up with spacers. The RaceTech springs in my SuperLow are shorter than the stock springs, but came with long spacer tubes, for trimming to suit the application.

It would be worth getting in touch with them direct, to see if they can offer you suitable springs.

I have been extremely happy since I replaced my stock shocks wit progressives and heavy fork oil. Mine was leaking also so I took the opportunity to take out the still functioning air ride and upgrade.

Thanks, I will do just that. Love the fxr, but is so stiff in front.
