So i just picked up my first Harley a few days ago. Its a 1998 Electra Glide Classic. But its had some customization done to it.
First off i got lucky getting it for wholesale cost from a toyota dealer that couldnt sell it. As such, i dont have a lot of info on it, but the dealer is working on getting me in touch with the guy that traded it in.
What i do know is that the bike has a built evo motor with S&S parts, not sure what exactly yet, but it is very fast. I'd say quite comparable to a stock 08 Roadglide i test road last week. Motor had 2700 miles on monday when i picked it up (lol almost 3000 now). Its been lowered, custom paint, seat, cd player, and extra goodies like spike head bolts and spikes on the front axle etc.
AND supposedly it has a fatboy front end on it as well. Its a spoke wheel (not really fatboy from what ive read) size of the tire is 130/90-16. Rear wheel looks stock.
Just curious if anyone is aware of this being done or if its just all smoke. I have spent several days hunting down the answer, but havent come to anything conclusive yet. It rides very well, wayyy better then a stock 96 Electra Glide i road 3 weeks or so ago.
Overall, i am very happy with the bike. Only things i think i need to do to it is a back rest for me, extend the floorboards out some, and get an actual windscreen for it (got one o them 2 inch jobs on it now).
I will get pictures up tomorrow as i know that will help the community identify what it is, as well as im sure ya'll just like looking at purdy bikes like i do.
looks to me to be stock, with a fatboy fender on it....thats a fairly common swap. the wheel isnt original to an EG, but lots of people love those spokes. and forks all chromed out too! nice looking bike!

The sliders do not have the the tabs for the second caliper. BY the shape it is a Softail set of sliders. FL do not have a step such as what is found under the "CowBells". The hub is a Softail with provisions for only one rotor. Softail FatBoy fender I believe.
So, Softail sliders, wheel, etc. But trees will still be E-glide as they are "reversed" from regular trees, meaning the forks are behind the neck rather than in front as is usual.
