The Eagle has landed...
.. in my garage. Picked this up today and now I've got the urge to take it out tonight. Uh, maybe not, it's too cold for me (32* and yes, I'm a wuss!). Maybe the cold weather will allow me to make some changes to it before it's maiden voyage. I've got a few ideas rolling around in my head about what I want to do. I think the first thing to go are the bars. Bought this from a petite lady and they are way too close. Anyway, here is a picture of my "new" '94 FXR:

The turn signals are kinda low on the to do list. I gotta get this thing to "fit" me first. As I said, I think the bars are going to be swapped out first. If you look closely at the picture, you'll see that the front brake line is kinda goofy, it loops up and then comes back down. That's gotta make bleeding the brakes a real joy. The lady I bought this from said she had a "box of original parts" that she's going to ship to me. She couldn't remember what she had saved. I'm hoping the turn signals are in there.
