I am trying to locate a set of clutch and brake handlebar levers in BLACK to fit my 94 heritage.
I am only seeing black being offered for 96 or newer. Before I send a set out for powder coat I thought I would throw it out here.
Anyone seen them offered anywhere?
The clutch lever part number (45017-93) is the same number after '06 and will fit your clutch housing. But the front brake master cylinder did change (45013-96) with the '96 model year. The new part number for the '96 year is 46016-96. You can change your master cylinder (45013-85A) to the later parts and get stock black levers. Look on ebay and you will find many for sale. Just get a Part catalog to insure you get the correct parts.
But if you do change the housings, you will need to also change the handlebar switches and covers to the '96 parts too. The older ones will not mate to the newer clutch and brake housings.
