Mink oil for boots to bitch whips.Keeps the leather soft and supple.Recommended for leather jackets also but I prefer my worn out 20 year old jacket to look it's age.
I use it on my vinyl seat as well.Seems to work fine.
I know they suggest mink oil for jackets and I treated a leather bike jacket I once had with mink oil.
Well it made it soft and supple alright, so much so I was concerned wether it would continue to protect me if I hit the asphalt. The jacket never felt right after that.
"I've heard" that Armour All is good stuff, BUT... once you start using it, you have to use it forever because if you stop, whatever you put it on turns to crap very fast. That's just what "I've heard." The automotive upholster who did my seat in leather >20 years ago said Lexol on leather and baby oil on vinyl. He had been in the business a long time then and did a lot of expensive custom work.
