I use a leather seat cleaner and potectant. I've tried several different brands, but seem to like the Mequairs the best. And I know I spelled that wrong, sorry.
On a vinyl seat I found nothing works as well as Aerospace 303. It's a little hard to find. Most marine stores carry it or it can be gotten online. It claims to have the best UV protection on the market. It doesn't leave a slippery feel or an overly glossy appearance. I use it on all the plastic exterior trim on my car also.
For leather, any decent leather food will work well. I keep Lexol in the house.
