If it's hitting when you go around corners then you have a bearing problem. Either the bearing and/or race are worn or there is too much end play.

It looks like the wheel might not be quite straight.

How do I confirm and adjust that?
Didn't you just space it out so the belt will miss the tire?

When you put the new bearings in be sure to check the end play, and get yourself some good synthetic wheel bearing grease. Don't forget to put a little lube on the inside of the seals too.

I just noticed on my super glide 98 that the tire is not center of the rear fender checked the measurement on the axle to the swing arm everything looks good and cannot figure what is goining on. I did put a new tire on her last year and the dealer installed the tire and installed new bearing, but I installed the back tire myself and just noticed the she is not centered. Do you guys think that the races are off Thanks

Some HD's have the rear wheel offset from the factory like .200".
