Just got my sled back. Had my budy at Ricks All American V-Twin in Porterville CA install the S&S 510 cam, so far the 40 miles of mountain driving home was a noticeable improvement from the central valley to 3000' elevation. Lifters, push rods, and cam bearing done. All at 50,000 miles. Noticeable wear on the stock bearing, it was ready to fall appart.
Could feel a little difference in low end and taking off from a stop, smooth getting up to 70 and 80. Once up to 65, if needed to pass, no need to down shift. I like it. Can't imagine what she'd be like with heads done..
