1994 roadking
Earlier advice to shop, shop, then shop some more cant be overstated, there are tons of deals to be had, I understand the urgency as cycle season is upon us, the prices are rising, deals are being gobbled up, but be patient......this bike if running good is an awesome platform to build on, even at 6000.00 if you did need a fresh top end your still way ahead of the game.
Try n nail down the approximate miles on the road king. I wouldn't touch a 95 with 86,000 miles.
I got my 97 Electra glide classic for 8995.00 with 24,000 original miles.

While I agree I'm not a fan either of fuel injected bikes that particular was better than the first three years of efi on the twinkies.
It's still an evo which is the big thing. Love the color...looks very clean, stock...pipes probably sound good.....fine example of a late 90's road king .....
I like this one best so far. If I was going to look considering he prices this one would be top on my list .hes right too that police bike is not stock....I'd be inclined to stay clear of it...could be a headache......might be missing brackets and the speeo is all wrong so mileage is a mystery....too many red flags for me.
Go check out the green one. Could be just right. Good luck keep us posted, if you find others keep asking questions, huge knoweledge base here on ths forum......especially here in evo land, and none of us wants to see a brother get a bad deal.
Also pay real close attention to the left side of the bike, I always get nervous when people on Craigslist Get 4pictures to post and they post 4 pictures of just one side of the bike .......it makes me think they're hiding something on the left side of the bike. Probably nothing, but still look that side over for something. Just in case.
Something else, ask if it's stage 2 or 3 .....being fuel injected I'm curious how well it runs, I see the discoloration on the pipes, right under the right saddlebag , those are drag pipes for sure , drag pipes are cool, but it's really important to the valves that the bike be tuned to the open restriction or lack thereof on drag pipes. It's probably gonna be really loud..,.when you drive it be sure to go on the highway.....make sure it's not loosing power across the mid range band , 3rd -4th gears.
I wanna be clear here, those drag pipes , if tuned to the bike, are perfectly fine! If you like it loud which I bet it will be then its all good. But as long as its tuned right, it is fine and mechanically acceptable. Just some additional food for thought.
