From what I have read you take it out and ride till she's warm. Then while it's idling turn that screw in until it stumbles. Screw it back out till it idles alright and add an extra quarter turn. I'm by no means an expert that's just what I've read on these sites.
I just rejected my 93 flhs and am going through the same tuning process after new air intake and exhaust install.
Well, alrighty then! I think I'm gonna run it as is for now!
Scott, Bertha has a 46 (from "Harley-Performance", not stock H-D) idle jet and a 180 main jet.
Turn the idle screw in all the way (gently) until it bottoms. Then turn it out 1 1/2 turns (I have black marks on the idle screw to help you know the turns) , ride her, and note how she runs off idle. If she stumbles, turn the idle screw out another 1/8 turn until she no longer stumbles. Keep doing this until she doesn't stumble off idle.
You will probably find that 1 1/2 to 2 turns out is the sweet spot. With a 46 idle jet (bigger than stock), you need LESS turns out. The main jet doesn't come into play until the last 20% or so of throttle (nearly WOT).

Thanks Ken. I will try this procedure next time I ride. Bertha was dripping something (I assume fuel and oil) from the air cleaner until I turned the idle screw in 3/4 of a turn. She's running well now, and no drips so far.
I also re-installed one of the amps that came with her and new(BIGGER) speakers in the tour pak. Sounds nice with the new quieter pipes.......
