had my engine rebuilt with sreaming eagle heads, +.010 over, se cam, carb, rebuilt clutch, rebuilt trans with twist gear also had the oil pump rebuilt.
problem is oil gauge goes to zero and oil light comes on. this happens after about 10 miles of riding.shut bike off for a couple of minutes and start back up light is off and gauge is right. go 10 more miles same problem.

Welcome to HDF from the UK. I take it you had it rebuilt by a dealer or indy? Take it back!

 

Sounds like they either need to re-rebuild the oil pump!! How was the pressure before the rebuild?? Did they do anything to the cam, cam bushings/bearing, oil lines/oil tank, lifters, or lifter bores??
