hey there guys, I know I've been kinda lost for a long while but I'm back!
I have a project that I wanna start working on.
It involves the front brake relocation.
Yes, I want to have a cable operated hydraulic front brake to give the bike a more vintage look.
I'm looking at using the rear master cylinder of a sportster because I have a fair idea of how to create the actuating parts to adapt the cable.
I'm not sure about the bores, do u guys think it will work on a single disc 95 fatboy?
do u happen to know what the front brake's bore is? is it 5/8 or 11/16?
86-95 5/8" Single, 11/16 Dual
96- Present 9/16" Single, 11/16 Dual ( Big Twins )
I believe in 04 the Sportsters with the new Nissin have a front master with a 1/2" bore for a single and 14mm for a dual. M/C will be stamped with the bore size.
