Default 4 Pot Caliper Conversion

I like to fit 4-pot Harley Calipers to my Evos, this is mainly because the conversion gives more progressive feel in the wet and this makes riding in the rain less stressful.

I ride all year round here on the Nth Island of NZ but although not particularly cold it does rain a bit at times.

So here is my 1998 Wide Glide as of today....I used a black braided hose because I like the way it becomes invisible, rather than creating an extra thing to catch the eye up front.

Yay for Ebay you mean...

I tried to get a caliper locally on "Trade Me" which is our domestic version of Ebay but I got outbid....by my mate who lives up the road of all people so I had to look to Uncle Sam for the parts.

Good mod... I did mine when I went to chrome lowers, I selected the '00 and up lowers so I didnt need a bracket, but it is worth doing. Just has a better more possitive/controlable feel..

That's dashed selfish of him! I went the extravagant route, as you can see below, with a pair of 6-pots.....

I put a 6 pot on the 120R bike I did a while back and to be honest I wasn't impressed with the results, not for what the caliper cost anyway.

I like the black brake line idea!

Changed my 98 WG to 2000+ when I first got her.
And did the rear too.
$200 for front and rear calipers, front fork sliders and a swingarm, from 4 different vendors on Fleabay. Great upgrade.
Had a thread on here with pics of the swap. Wonder where it went...

OH, and then I found some chrome sliders at a dealer closing out. They are on there now.
