I'm wondering if someone ordered them with a heavier spring? I haven't rode another evo softail to compare it to but the tc standard and heritage I rode were both a lot softer. 2006flst, how much would you want for them? If I so have progressives I suppose I could year then down over the winter our have progressive see what they are.

I've never seen a chrome set of OE shocks. My bet is that some poor chump put a set of these POS shocks from eBay on your ride. They barely cost more than a set of lowering bolts. I'm told they ride miserably. Never rode them myself, but for about $100 new, how good can they be
They look a little different than those, they dont have the holes in the middle of the outer can and dont have the lowering adjustments. They look like they've been on there a long time. do the progressives say what they are anywhere?

I'm currently running Progressive Suspension shocks. The only identification I've seen on them was the stickers. Then again I never looked for any stamped ID before installing them. But being that yours aren't adjustable, I don't think they're PS shocks. As far as I know, all of their Softail shocks are adjustable.
They're adjustable for preload just like the stock shocks, I was saying they dont have the adjustment for lowering the ride height. They dont ride horrible, they just seem pretty stiff and are really jarring over hard edged bumps. The front seems pretty stiff too.
