My fender and all have gone off to the painter now, so I can't check mine, but I did take the shocks off and check clearances on my 'new' 08 fender, with the swingarm at full compression. My greater concern was clearance to my 160 tyre, that actually measures 167mm, which gets close sideways at the front.

One of the ways I installed mine was to drill a hole through the top of the new fender and run a bolt down from the front edge of the tourpak platform, where the grab handle bolts on, to pull mine up at that point. It will be some time before I get to ride mine and try out such things!

I dont have the factory TP pate on mine anymore and just bought the 04 fender strut mounting hardware from HD. The bumper, bag supports, and fender struts all lined and bolted together. So I thought I was good, I guess the center of the later frame is is slightly longer than ours which mounts the swingam a touch farther back in relation to the fenders centerline. I also notice that I had to redrill the rear seat mounting bung 1/2" farther foward to get my seat to sit where its designed to, I'm using a 97-06 seat, with the moving the seat mount forward the tour pack now fits correctly on the factory detach brackets and has the proper seat spacing.

Most likely nowhere.

These missing pics were originally hosted on Photobucket.

A while back, Photobucket stopped allowing their account holders to link their Photobucket pics to other websites, unless they paid Photobucket $399 per year.

Many people, including me, told Photobucket to go pound sand by moving their pics to another site.

I tried to go back and correct any forums where I'd posted Photobucket pics, but it was a pain in the rear end to do that, so I'm guessing most people didn't even try.

I don't recall the name of it, but there is a website that was popular for posting photos and which members could link to. IIRC the website wanted to make charges for using it, and deleted accounts of people who didn't pay up. I may not have that quite right, but that is why there are so many pics we cannot see.

I got an email from photobucket yesterday...that said they would allow hosting again...but the photos would be watermarked...

looks like it works...I wonder if old posts are working...he might have deleted his account...

(EDIT) I went and looked at some of my old posts and the photobucket pictures are back....and the picture above is from photobucket

Wow. How's that for timing? I haven't looked at my Photobucket account in months now, I don't even know if my pics are still there or if Photobucket deleted them.

I agree the original poster probably deleted his pics or his account from Photobucket.
