Alaska For Three Years!!!
Well, I found out Thursday I am going to Eielson AFB for three years, I guess my riding time will drop dramatically thanks to the good old Air Force, at least they have heated garages. Anybody on this forum ride in the Fairbanks area?

Make sure you run by Skinny Dick's Halfway Inn. Fun little bar and grill about 30 miles out of Fairbanks...good place to play pool..darts..etc. At least it used to 30 years ago.

Got to go to Humpy's in Anchorage. Great sports bar with a very nice selection of draft beers plus good food like Halibut tacos.

At least your going to some place where you can ride,, in the Summer. In 1976 AF figured I needed some time out at King Salmon AFS in Alaska,, spent 18 months there while my ride sat in Virginia. Alaska is a blast and you wont forget what you see any time soon!! and remember you are near North Pole Alaska up there so dont have far to dive to visit Santa!!! ROFL
