Well, It's STILL 60 balmy degrees here, so, I took Bertha off the lift and fired her up.....
Observation #1. New paint smells funny when it's baking on a jug.
Observation #2. When hitting the brakes, it ain't funny when the headlight goes off. Got to figure that one out. I have one of the blinker deals that makes the brake lights flash when you use them. Not sure if that's part of it or not.
Observation #3. She's got a nice new "feel" about her.

Every once in a while I check my break levers to make sure they activate the light. At one time I had problems with my foot break and the other time was me reassembling the had lever wrong. So now I check which I do by standing beside my bike, look at the break light while activating the various levers.

Headlight issue sounds like a bad ground. They do weird stuff. Run a jumper from the ground on the headlight to the block and see if it cures it. If so, start chasing...
