Default Jiffy Stand spring

Mine seems to be getting quite weak.

Anyone else had to replace one?

You know TD as a fix it project you could have picked something more entertaining than a spring.

I've always thought that would be one of the things that you should carry as a spare, that and a couple heavy duty electrical ties.

Hmmm, the stand drags sometimes when I lean into corners. I guess I better check to see if something's bent somewhere.

We need a TD project, I think it is the rear swingarm bushings flexing in a corner allowing the stand to get closer to the ground, pull the swingarm and check for excessive play

I just replaced the spring on my 1998 Ultra....noticed the stand would not fully retract. The old spring on the bike looked fine, but compared to the new one....you could tell it was worn out. Also check out the black stand bumper on the frame to make sure it is in the right location.

Since it was replaced....the stand does not drag so often.
