Default Brake Lever Help

My brake lever is rattling, and figure that it is time to replace the bushing there. I know that you can mess up the brake switch if you are not careful. My question is, can I simply remove the pin and R&R the bushing with the brake lever still in place, or is there a better way to do this?

You have to be careful of the brake light switch.

It is very easy to put the brake leaver back in and have the brake switch not work.

Yes, I am aware of that which is why I asked my question.

On aother note, was in Texas last year for my nephew's wedding. Stayed a couple extra days, and rented a bike at Cowboy in Austin. Beautiful state you have there.

Sorry man I guess I wasn't awake when I read your question the first time.

To answer your question I don't think you can just pull the pin and change the bushing. If memory serves me right you have to pull the lever to access the bushing.
