I have heard that the Ultima El Bruto line is pretty good. Pricing is reasonable as well. Call Jireh and get their catalog, or look it over online. As mentioned, HD factory rebuild service is a great option, if you decide to stay stock.
any evo running bike that hits craigslist in this area will have 20 calls within 3 hrs of the add hitting. They are bringing high book and selling fast, the only thing that isnt is the early fuel injected bikes but they are eventually selling at usually in the mid range of book.A friend stuck his 91 on today its a ultra that belonged to his dad who was in his late 70s and had been dropped on both sides multiple times. He had calls from 22 states in less than 5 hrs----------------it blew my 4500$ offer right out of the water lol.Bike is going to fla for 6100$
this is good news to me! I picked up a v-rod an I'm considering selling my 94 softail. I may had another evo later but something with bags for road trips.

So where is this area? and 6100 for a 91 that's been dropped a few times, sounds like the guy who bought it has been dropped a few times too many himself. The only Evo's I've seen holding their own price wise are the springers, the rest are worth 1 - 2k less than they were 3 years ago, atleast within 400 miles of NJ. I'm in the market for a particular bike and actively look at all the online sites and have been for a couple of years, not much is moveing and I have not seen anything move up in price.

WOW thats good i guess. I would think a non salvage title bike 94-98 Ultra EVO around here would bring 4000 to 5000 tops.I have seen them sitting for a long time for 8500. Maybe when the weather breaks around here they will be higher. But like i said lot of motors than can be heard running for pretty cheap. Saw another yesterday complete running gear motor trans primary the complete deal 2k.Legal bill of sale. Next ones i see i will send you as i have no wants. This whole deal started because i could not find a shovel or pan cheap.
Sorry too hijack Hope you get back on the road Pinetop
the area I am talking about is the front range of Co. but whats funny is the callers arent from Co .They come from all over the US like there is a shortage of evo in certain circles.
You also must keep in mind lots of larger clubs are exporting these bikes overseas at a alarming rate-----In time I think the EVo will end up bringing a fair amount of money for what they are due to this. Most of the shovels are dried up so its time to move on to the evo for a few more years

Pete when i was at the auction buying a couple of them...A few guys on line in Poland were driving up the prices..Mostly EVO stuff but they wouldn't go much more than 2500-2700.
3 containers a month for one club go out --------all evo with the occasional shovelhead. They were sending the big dogs, titans, big bear stuff for a while to but the price has rebounded a bunch on the as well

That bothers me as i lost a a pan a bunch of years ago never to be found. One reason i have been away so long.Too easy to dummy up paper work to send the stuff overseas. You drive? I ran containers into Newark for many years.
yes I drive when I have every thing else done ----------I have never done cans but we have loaded a lot of stuff off of the cans when they get to port.I cant remember what we pulled out of Newark because I quit the customer in the late 90s when I cut back on truck numbers.
The Harley export thing troubles me as well ,but its really no different than all the late model swap meet tin thats floating around. At one vender at the swap meet in Denver I counted over 50 late model tin sets that had no collison damage what so ever on them
