Ive noticed that when my bike sits "off" both blinkers (left and right) blink the same... but when running my right blinker has a MUCH different blink rate/pattern. example... left blinks regularly, my right will blink 3 times, go solid, blink 3 times, go solid, and shut off. while my left blinks consecutively for about 30 seconds and then shuts off... is this possibly a relay adjustment? or maybe there is an after market blinker module on the bike that need to be rest? thought???
they are headwinds, standard bulbs... it does not look like a LED blink... it seems more like a turn signal relay adjustment to change blinker patterns... I've seen them on sport bikes. but, I have not dug into the electrical to investigate.
I think JohnnyC may have it. Dual filament not seated properly or a bad bulb. looks like the bulbs are a $1. Replace all bulbs for the giggles, see what happens. May be able to find the bulbs at auto parts.
When my factory turn signal module was starting to fail, the blinkers would act normal sitting with eng off or idle, but not flash when running over idle. It got to where they wouldn't flash at all. Put a badlands unit in and theyr'e good again. Apparently stock unit used a tach signal from the engine that notoriously fails. Badlands unit doesnt use tach signal, just flashes 11 secs.

no doubt, I just replaced my relay with the a new stock one... that fixed the "lack" of blinking i had.. .now i just have "odd" blink patterns.. maybe I'll look into that Badlands relay
