It just keeps adding up...
Ever been there?
..where you are trying to get some savings in the bank for some replacements/rebuilds...
..and one after another, other parts start to go south on you?
The madam and I are just building us a home so all our money goes into the construction and will do so until end of next year.
It all started with stator shorting (1996 FLSTF).
Repair should cost about 450Euro. I plan to have the funds set a side by next winter and will do the work myself, so far so good...
Since I did the stator analysis (december 2012), the rear brake disc warped, nosecone-gasket starts to sweat(?) and front master cylinder needs reman.
By next winter, my rear tire aswell as brakepads front and rear will need changing.
I hoped to stretch my time and wallet a little and do the stator job after this ridingseason..
Now it seems I'd better start playing the lottery?!
To all you fellow enthousiasts out there, Hope you get more lucky than me this season ;-)
.... sigh .....
