I've been running the SE ignition since about 1988 or so. The same one. I've replaced the pickup once because the wire broke inside the insulation where it flexes under the cone. I did swap the wire out to Magnecor a couple years ago.
Bocr6, I have a Hi-4 single fire module that was included when I bought some other stuff from a guy,
don't know anything about it, or if it works, looks good on the outside.
You can have it.
Pm me and we'll figure out the shipping.

Crane got some bad prts in the late '90's and had some problems. If you got a bad one, you had problems. If you got a good one then you were golden. The work extremely well and forced Dyna to come out with an adjustable module rather than relying on the original weights and springs.
The Ultima is a rebranded Dyna and works well. They too had problems with coils, but I believe they have solved it by going to a different supplier. I like the adjustable ignitions as I have the ability make changes as the quality of gas gets worse
