3rd link stabiliser 86 glide
anybody know where to source one or has made one up to fit an early glide, all the kits around seem to be for later models

Ken, True-Track are the only brand I know of who make them for our early bikes. And jolly good they are too!

do the tru-trac systems take out the high speed wallowing i sometimes experience on my 1990 ultra classic?

Yes, indeed they tighten up handling throughout the speed range. Your bike will steer and ride better as soon as you ride away. It's the only way to travel! I've had one on my Glide for several years now.
