Jimbo, you're in Fairbanks? Your riding season over??
Naw, still in the 80s every day. Usually rains most of August, gets cooler but sunny in September, then snows in October. Not this year. I'm starting to believe in "climate change", cause it has been the warmest summer on record.
Some sources of Heritage rattles I've found over the years include:
Gas caps. The ratchet mechanism wears over time.
The front fork cover. Tap on it and see if it rattles. Loosen up the mounting screws, press the front cover tight against the forks and re-tighten.
Headlamp trim ring. May take a bit of bending to tighten up the fit.
I'll have to check those, got a buzz sounds like in the front end on my Tour Glide, haven't figured it out yet. Haven't gotten too excited about it since the whole front end is coming off this fall for a fork rebuild/mod.
