Whew!!!! Working on a friends bike which has set up outside for 5 years! Rebuilt carb and replaced intake seals, was about to change fluids and petcock starts leaking! Damn now gotta get petcock and rinse tank due to junk in it. Pulled exhaust to replace gaskets and wouldn't you know the old ones are being a bitch to get out. Hopefully next week it will be running again. If anybody had a front wheel, or front and rear master cylinders hit me up, oh and a seat! The life of a mechanic is so busy!

Use a sharp pointed thing...a ground down screwdriver or similar to prise the exhaust gaskets out.
