That was 100% supposed to be just for Mark and he would have known exactly what I meant. As he was planning a trip a while back I asked him about an iPhone GPS and he told me he was a real biker and didn't need anything like that. Truly it was all sarcasm hoping that he'd be the first one to reply and laugh about it.
MJ knows I'm ribbing him. Far as I can tell if you're riding a bike, you're a real enough biker for me. The ONLY exception to that general rule is if you ride a Yamaharley and then name it after a cloud. Aside from that, GPS all the way. I've got mine with me everywhere I go!
Closed circuit to MJ, email me directly. I have a garmin that I don't use. I truly have NO need for it. I'll send it to ya and you can try it out. Need to install a 12V charger on the bike though.
In that case my apologies sir.
Normally I am good with sarcasm I totally missed it.

Yeah, I missed the sarcasm too. I've been hit so many times by people who think they, "know what a real biker is", That i'm getting a little sore on the subject now....No harm no foul, I should've stayed my hand...
I rode Scarlett 100 miles today, then jumped on Nimbus.......Holy CRAP that japper is fast......but not nearly as comfortable......or.........a Harley..........
The down side is that if my exhaust really did smell like bacon there would be no way I could pass a restaurant.
I am fat enough already!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Back in the day we used to take a chicken breast, wrap it in bacon, season it, then put it some heavy duty aluminum foil. Next we would wedge it on the tranny up near the engine and ride all morning. when we stopped it would be cooked. We used to call it "Tranny chicken"!!!
