gotta problem with my bars lining up with my front tire on 1998 flhtc. hold the bars straight and the front wheel points slightly left. gotta ride with the bars slightly right. is this something i can straighten up myself? anybody help a brother out.

I swear you need a chock to do this properly but I do know that there are videos onyoutube with guys doing this on a lift, wheel barely off the floor? Not too sure about this however.
turn the wheel all the way to the left, now push the right grip until the bars and wheel match. the bars will move. no need to take anything apart or buy new parts.
ok, i went out to the garage and did the method prescribed by bagga and thc, i believe it worked. gonna take it for a ride in the morning and test it out. i can look down the front end with the bars straight and it sure appears to have straightened up. many thanks gents.
