That is the way to do it. I have kicked around the idea of trashing all my wiring and just going basic. I loved the wire harness I made years ago on my chopper. Was so basic and easy and reliable.

I have it done that way because I get bored with things easily and like to change stuff around. Like the handlebars. And it takes me ten minutes if I don't run handlebar switches. So my hi-lo goes on the top motor mount where a horn would be and I don't run a hand brake twilight switch. Just a foot one. Simplifies everything. Also I have the solenoid switch so no starter relay. S&s super e so no voes. I do not have the knowledge to do wiring. I could do it but it definitely won't come at as nice and hidden as my guy does. He hooks everything up with deutsche connectors and plug and play

Got word today that it might be done at wiring tomorrow. However I work until Friday morning. So hopefully I will have some pics and a video of it running on Saturday.

Bike is back from wiring. I am waiting on a speedo cable on Tuesday and then she will be buttoned up. I set up and mounted the hard bags today off of a 05 softail. I am not a huge fan o the conchos but they will do for now. The oil filter mount ended up being very close to the regulator. Well see about that with time
