oh great, who is gonna be the jerk and tell this guy to get the fsm? seriously though bro', i have no idea. On the softail it's just past the tanks.

I think you just were!!!!

On mine it is under the speedo and over the frame.
Looks like a cigarette box with a bolt in the middle.

Nah man, I was expecting some passive aggressive **** to ask him what it says in the fsm. In the evo forum a spoonfed meal helps us all grow until we're ready to be weaned to the big boy chair.

Th moco item from the stealership is pricey, Spanners39 has a Badlands tutorial in this very forum somewhere. It's only $50 or so shipped so that is the way my cheap *** would go.

I did once....until I was told they didn't have the "special" tool to pull the bearing races on my wheels..........I guess I was surprised a motorcycle repair shop couldn't do that......

There is one but you can use an arc welder instead...run a bead of weld around the race. allow to cool and they drop out.

Is there a "special" tool needed to reinstall them? That's one of the jobs I'm looking at for the winter.
