I agree, Shockproof significantly reduced the "growl" in my 2009 FLHTCU ( straight cut 5th gear ) I stayed with it on future services.

That's what I'll be using when I do my change. I think I'm gonna try their 25w60 syn engine juice, too.

Do you use Redline in the primary?

Nope. ATF in the primary.

You should always use lard in the tranny in case of such scenarios, then you can re-use the baster....

The only problem with that is that it doesn't drain very well when cold!!
