I'm with Spanners on this one. A set of Progressive Suspension fork springs and H-D "Performance Heavy" fork oil will work wonders for your ride and handling. Been using this setup for many years.

Or you could just add some Seafoam to the forks.

No the condition of the back tire won't cause a front end bounce.

The initial ride will be softer, but with more resistance to bottoming- that's because the springs are "progressive" wound. Compared to the single rate stock springs.

Thanks, I think I'll give it a shot. Man, the winter projects are really piling up now........
