Default Changing floorboards to footpegs

Hi all, been riding my '94 Heritage for a couple of years now. I love how comfortable it is, but coming off a lifetime of sportbikes, I find the cornering clearance with the floorboards lacking (I know it will never be a sport bike, but I scrape on low speed corners at this point, I think it has a lowering kit installed by PO which makes it worse). I would like to try changing out floorboards for footpegs, my question is, can take footpeg brackets of similiar era softail and replace the floorboards with footpegs without moving shifter arm or rear brake pedal? If anyone has done this before could you please steer me to model/year brackets that will work.
thanks
p.s. love this forum, I always find great info here

yes the frames are the same. i think in 2000+ the majority of the frame across sub-models were the same but the rake was different. ya know like the false seat-post, but same swingarm bushings' part numbers.
when you lose the floorboards you will have to re-evaluate the shifter rod. I had to raise mine for an old pair of riding boots as it was too tight. totally mental.

Don't do it!!! I have floorboards on my Lowrider and I would never go back to footpegs.

If I had your bike I would get rid of the lowering kit and keep the floorboards....

Without getting rid of the lowering kit you won't really gain all that much by going to pegs.

Just my 2 cents.

I like the look of the lowering kit but maybe I will just take it out cause the cornering in ridiculous, especially with a passenger. The floorboards feel odd to me after riding 30 years on pegs. I'd like to do an easy swap to factory pegs that mount to same spot as floorboards, so I could easily go back if I didnt like them. If I find brackets off a softail of same year range will they just bolt on and are the brake and shift levers in the same spot on bikes with pegs vs bikes with floorboards?
thanks guys

brake, I think. i hate to say that but just looking at part numbers will clarify that easily enough. just look for pre-2k pegs and youll be fine as they will bolt up. Just careful too because look at your inseam, your real inseam, and buy or avoid extended forwards.
i have been contemplating this for a little while too because when i'm on the highway i use the mark3 extenders by Kurakyn anyway.
youre also right too as my road glide will absolutely out-corner my softie any day of the week. it is truly not even close.

I think mine looks good and she handles just fine!!!!
Granted I can't turn with a sport bike but there isn't a Harley that can.
