I’m trying to find new belt matching 61 rear pulley. Based on the http://www.bigboyzheadporting.com/Gearratio.htm website I have 32 trans pulley, 70 rear pulley and 136 belt length in my 1992 Softail.
What’s the right size of the belt if I decided to install 61 teeth rear pulley? Is it 131?
61T was stock International spec, which you will find details of in your parts book! Mine tells me your stock belt is 132T and you need a 127T belt for a 61T pulley. 136T is stock length for US Glides.
Why you want to raise your gearing so much is another matter! I changed my 61T to US spec 70T. You're going to raise your gearing by 15%, which is way too much IMHO, unless you have a 124" monster motor in there!
Thank you for the info! I checked used belts on ebay and it showed 130T for 94-99 EVOs. Probably front 32T and rear 65T pulleys would be the best match. I'm going to buy 65T pulley and 130T belt. It should help to move the buzz from 65 to 70mph. Sometimes I miss my Dyna. Softail models look good but Dyna models are much more practical.
