Oh, that's the new O'merika. Politically correct even if it pisses off it's citizens. I'll also agree, retailers are forcing Christmas season way too early.

That's just BS. I can remember selling Christmas cards door-to-door back when I was around 13 - 14 (just one of the many little things I used to do to get some cash, since I wasn't old enough to work) and many of them said 'Happy Holidays' on or inside them. That would have been around 1966. So it's nothing new, and it's not some BS 'war on Christmas' either. I've always thought of it as being inclusive of Thanksgiving thru New Year - people often say things about 'the holidays' coming up meaning just that.

i always thought so too until my niece said the holiday tree at school or the peace wreaths. i certainly don't get offended by the right-wing's supposed attack on Christmas but there is some truth to it. I mean they are in fact Christmas trees if nothing else. Now how black people don't shove Kwanzaa up the pc-police's *** is another of the many things i'll never understand.
