You guys are rough on cali. I was born in Oakland and I dare you to walk down the streets there day or night. Good luck with that, let me know how that turns out for you cats
Lived there for a couple of years back in the early 90's.
Best view I ever had of California was in the rear view!!!!
Though I gotta admit Highway 1 was kinda neat.

Oakland is one of the worst citys anywhere, but there is some pretty riding country out there and I would love to go all the way up the PCH. No I dont think I could live there again.
I lived in Hermosa Beach [LA] back in 70s. After a few years I went back to GA. Back then it was too crazy even for me.

I'm not going to argue with you about Oakland.
As for there being good riding in California there is good riding in every state in the union.
There is nothing in California that I consider worth going back to that hell hole for.
I have not been back since the early 70s. Dont guess I will either, I bet it has gone to the dogs since then. It was pretty crazy back then but I had some fun.
Man o man. I would hate the prospect of a bike loan. A street glide in that trim would be about $21000. The stealer will kill you on your trade insyou're financing $16000. Over the years at thirty six payments figuring three and half percent because the moco don't have zero percent you're looking at $450. That ain't too too bad actually....
