Hi all.
Been thinking of getting one of those HD Motorcycle bubbles to store the old girl in for the winter months, as my garage is more of a cow shed with no heating or insulation. Does anyone have one? My main question is does it consume a load of electricity? as the fan is obviously running continuously. In these days of rip off energy prices you have to consider the cost. Be interested in your feedback.
Thanks
I have looked at these bubbles and actually thought about getting one for myself. My only concern was poking a hole in it when I was working on something else in the garage. I just set up a fan, on a timer, and this does a decent job keeping condensation off of the bike.
Friend of mine has used a bubble for several years - his Sporty is in his as I write. It isn't a Harley branded one, but there are plenty of them around.
